—En primer lugar, ¿quién puede llamar el mejor fotógrafo en Medellín? :)

—Todos somos muy buenos.. cada uno tiene su estilo, su esencia.

—¿Cómo empezó a trabajar en la industria de fotografía?

—Queria hacer algo que me inspirara cada día, algo que fuera mas alla de una fotografia, contar una historia, ya que cada Boda es diferente y como fotografo se debe exigir cada dia mas y ser muy pero muy creativo.

—¿Es usted fotogénico(a)?

—noooo... No soy para nada fotogénico.

—¿En su opinión, cuáles son los elementos más importantes de una buena fotografía?

—la actitud de querer hacer algo nuevo y la mas importante "la Creatividad"

—¿Le gusta viajar?

—Si! amo ver los arboles en cada viaje, sus formas, cada uno son su elegancia y su forma... seria feliz andando con una pareja de novios en cada viaje. jejeje

—¿Qué le gusta más de su profesión?

—Ver una pareja de novios muy enamorada.

—¿Qué le gusta menos de su profesión?

—Que aveces no hay el tiempo suficiente para hacer todo lo que uno planea antes.

—¿Cómo gestiona las críticas?

—Gracias a Dios al dia de hoy no he tenido este problema, desde que le metas todo el empeño creo que esto no pasara, pero si esto pasara, somos fotógrafos que nos podemos equivocar alguna vez.. pero para un cliente esto no puede pasar, asi que este estilo de fotografía hay que estar muy antentos 100 de 100.

—¿Cuál será el futuro de la fotografía?

—Me imagino Bodas por redes sociales, por LiveStrem... y siempre todos queremos fotografía, ella no desaparecera.

—¿Qué tiene de especial el género fotográfico en que trabaja?

—Uffff... amo esta pregunta...La fotgrafia de Bodas es increíble. una vez leí que los forografos como como francoritadores mientras ellos disparan balas, nosotros disparamos momentos y es ahi cuando eso lo hace interesante, "Los momentos"

—¿Existe alguna tendencia en la fotografía?

—No las conozco aun.

—¿Qué criterios debería tener en cuenta una persona a la hora de elegir a un fotógrafo?

—Deben considerar a fondo el estilo de cada fotógrafo, citarse con el fotógrafo para que les explique su modo de trabajar , su estilo y calificar su experiencia. Y elegir el que se adapte mas al estilo que buscan. NO elegir fotógrafo para su boda por que cobra mas barato que los demás.

—¿Cómo empezó a trabajar en la industria de fotografía?

—Desde pequeño me atrajo mucho este arte, en mi adolescencia entré a aprender con el amigo de mi padre a su estudio fotográfico y fue allí donde entre al mundo de la fotografía.

—¿Es usted fotogénico(a)?

—siempre que me es posible

—¿En su opinión, cuáles son los elementos más importantes de una buena fotografía?

—Técnica para manejar la Luz, espontaneidad, sentimiento y creatividad.

—¿Le gusta viajar?

—si,

—¿Qué le gusta más de su profesión?

—Me permite disfrutar de algo que amo hacer, fotografías y ademas me pagan por hacerlo. jajajaj
Me fascina el reto de encontrar los mejores momentos de una boda para fotografiarla con mayor sentimiento que lo que aparenta en la realidad.

—¿Qué le gusta menos de su profesión?

—El lado comercial de la fotografía.

—¿Cómo gestiona las críticas?

—como una oportunidad para ver en que mejorar.

—¿Qué no está permitido de ningún modo cuando realiza una fotografía?

—Que los novios estén estresadosa a la hora de las fotos o que los invitados quieran influir en mi manera de trabajar.

—¿Cuál será el futuro de la fotografía?

—Cada vez será mas valorada por los novios, ya que todos toman fotos ahora con su teléfono o cámaras semi profesionales, y eso permite que mas gente vea que la fotografía no es disparar por disparar, se requiere de pasión, experiencia y mucha técnica, lo cual las gente no podrá comprar nunca en alguna tienda.

—¿Qué tiene de especial el género fotográfico en que trabaja?

—El mar de emociones que se vive durante la boda. sentimientos como amor, pasión, euforia, felicidad, tristeza y ¿por que no? nervios.

—¿Qué criterios debería tener en cuenta una persona a la hora de elegir a un fotógrafo?

—I always say to people: "look my portfolio, also the full works, and if you feel something when you are watching my photos, then I'm the photographer you are looking for".
My photos will be the only memories of their best day, they must be absolutely sure that my style fits perfectly with their taste.

—¿Cómo empezó a trabajar en la industria de fotografía?

—Probably in the same way of most of us: a friend asked me to shoot his wedding, then, since I had already a big passion about photography, after I saw that I enjoyed a lot to capture real moments, I decided to follow that path (step by step).

—¿Es usted fotogénico(a)?

—mmm...I don't think so :D

—¿En su opinión, cuáles son los elementos más importantes de una buena fotografía?

—I think there is not an exact answer, everyone likes a photo because of many reasons, also personal reasons given by personal taste.
Personally, using of course a good technique, I aim to capture always the emotions, the real moments, that's what really matters in a perfect service in my opinion.
And in the Creative Sessions I aim to create beautiful photos, so I take care of the esthetique by following my personal sense of taste, but always trying to give some emotions to the viewers.
Also controlling lights and shadows is very important, often essential.

—¿Le gusta viajar?

—Yes, I love to see new places and to change the wedding locations too :) shooting weddings in different countries, with different traditions, it's very interesting.
But I travel also just for myself, obviously.

—¿Qué le gusta más de su profesión?

—What I said before, shooting weddings in different countries, with different traditions, it's very interesting, and we often work between Austria, Italy and Hungary, but not only.
And this job allows me to meet new people, of course, and this is also a beautiful side of being a wedding photographer.
And being able to give to these people memories they will be joyful to watch in the future, well, that makes me proud.

—¿Qué le gusta menos de su profesión?

—Maybe the marketing part, it's a ton of work which is hidden to the eyes of most of the clients, and to be honest is not so great and fun like shooting photos :) but that's part of this job too, and must be done.
I also don't like the envy and malice that some photographers have of others colleagues, I think everyone should just think about giving his best, and caring only about to improve, continuously.

—¿Cómo gestiona las críticas?

—It depends on how much competent is who criticize me :D jokes apart, I'm always studying, always trying new things, and always following photographers whose works I love, and I'm always ready to learn from them.
There is always to learn something new, and there is always someone who can teach me something.
So, I usually accept critics if well reasoned, or at least I reflect on them.

—¿Qué no está permitido de ningún modo cuando realiza una fotografía?

—The photographer must not become the protagonist of the scene, and he/she must always remember that it's not his/her wedding, but the bride and groom's wedding.
In few words, the photographer must not be intrusive.

—¿Cuál será el futuro de la fotografía?

—I don't know.

—¿Qué tiene de especial el género fotográfico en que trabaja?

—To me, being the direct witness of great emotions, and not only: I'm the one in charge to capture those moments, it's a big responsability, and a honour too.
